Corporate Profile
Ally Fyfe - Territory Manager South Island
I graduated from Otago University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Human Nutrition, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics. After graduating mid last year I worked for six months at Christchurch Public Hospital as a Clinical Dietitian, with a specific focus on cardiovascular health. At the beginning of 2010 it was time for a change and by mid January I was part of the Nutricia team.
The change from the public to the private sector has presented me with new and exciting challenges and I am really looking forward to mastering a whole new set of skills. So far though, the highlight for me since starting Nutricia, has to be becoming part of such a supportive, motivated, and outgoing team. I can't wait to see together what we can achieve!
I am also a keen foodie with a passion for nutrition and cooking. I also enjoy social sports including touch and indoor netball. |

Amand Hill - Territory Manager Lower North Island
I am based in Wellington, but grew up in the South Island (West Coast & Nelson).
I studied Physical Education and Physiotherapy at the University of Otago, graduating in2003. I then worked and travelled through the UK and Europe for 3 years, before coming back to Wellington to work in a private clinic.
Looking for acareer change lead me to Nutricia.
I love sport andplay golf seriously (handicap 2) and soccer less seriously but still competitively. I am trying to train for a marathon in the next year. |

A reminder that Nutrison and Nutrison Multi Fibre 500ml glass bottle will soon be discontinued
The 1000ml Pack presentation will replace the 500ml glass bottle. We expect stock of both 500mlglass product tobe depletedby the end of June. We therefore kindly ask that patients are transferred across to the 1L Pack format of these products:

We are discontinuing these product formats due to:
- The low and reducing volume usage that has lead to an uneconomical situation
- A global move away from glass packaging (due to 'no glass policies' upheld in hospitals)
- A 1000ml Pack of both products is already available and funded in New Zealand, which offers
greater safety in terms of contamination prevention and ease of use.

Calogen- the simple way to top-up calories. Recipe pad for Paediatrics now available

Duocal Scoop
Super Soluble Duocal will now include the small SHS blue scoop. This scoop will measure 1.2g of Duocal.

Multilingual Labeling
To improve economies of scale in global production, some of our Paediatric products are shifting to a 'multilingual label'. Information on the labels of these cans will become multilingual and incorporate a booklet containing information related to the product in several different languages. Please be assured that the composition of the product with this new labeling will not change in any way and will have the exact nutritional value as before.
Over the next few months, multilingual labels will start to appear on the following products:
- Super Soluble Duocal
- Monogen
- Generaid Plus
- Kindergen
We will advise of code changes separately in the next few weeks. Details of these changes will be communicated to all hospital purchasing departments, wholesalers and pharmacies that distribute or dispense these products.

Product Deletions
Scandishake Vanilla and Strawberry
Scandishake Vanilla (NUTSCANDIVANILLA) and Scandishake Strawberry (NUTSCANDISTRAW) are to be discontinued due to the very low volume usage and the difficulty this creates with stock management. We have a small amount of remaining stock and once this stock is depleted, both of these 2 flavours of Scandishake will no longer be available. Please note however we will be continuing to stock Scandishake Chocolate (NUTSCANDICHOC)
Nutrison Advanced Cubison
Nutrison Advanced Cubison (NUT65688) is also being discontinued from the market due to very low volumes and difficulty this creates managing stock levels.
